Amino Acids Battery Nutrition Hardcore BCAA

Battery Nutrition BCAAs aid in energy and even fat loss, but the main benefit of BCAAs is their ability to boost muscle growth. Of the three, Leucine is the most valuable, as it plays one of the most critical roles in growth signalling.

Provides the BCAAs L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine and L-Valine in a specific 10:1:1 ratio that will maximise mTOR signalling to switch on protein synthesis for maximum lean muscle gains after resistance training or intense exercise bouts.

Research suggests that people who add extra Leucine to their post-workout protein and carbs, experience greater muscle protein synthesis than those just getting protein and carbs. ,

Because Leucine is so critical for muscle growth, you should make sure to use a BCAA product that has more Leucine than its counterparts, Isoleucine and Valine.

The 10:1:1 ratio shows the presence of ten times the quantity of Leucine than Valine and Isoleucine.

This is because the activator of the protein synthesis and anti-catabolic properties are attributed to Leucine, while Valine and Isoleucine have more an energy function.

The branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) are formed by 3 essential amino acids : leucine, valine and isoleucine.

They make up about 30-35% of the protein in muscle tissue, and as they are not synthesized by the body, they must be obtained from food or dietary supplements.
HOW IT WORKS
Amino acids play very important biological roles: the synthesis of proteins, enzymes, and hormones; in the transport of substances; synthesis of immunoglobulins and antibodies; in the regulation of acid-base balance in the body and may still be a source of energy, if a glycogen depletion occurs.

They are the basic units that make up the proteins necessary for the growth and maintenance of tissues, being fundamental to the development of muscles, for muscle recovery, and to strengthen the body’s immune system.

In order for the cells to produce the proteins required for their normal activity, there must be a constant intake of essential amino acids, either through food or dietary supplements.

The intake of BCAAs activates the mTOR signaling pathway (activates protein synthesis) and contributes to increased muscle mass.

Hypertrophy provides increased strength and endurance, improving athletic performance. Of all the amino acids that make up BCAAs, leucine is the main responsible for the activation of mTOR pathways.

Physical exercise activates the phosphorylation of BCKDH (branched chain alpha-keto dehydrogenase complex), an enzyme complex that is responsible for the use of BCAAs and promotes protein catabolism.

Therefore, if this amino acid is not quickly replenished, you experience a strong decrease in muscle proteins after the training.

Physical exercise, by increasing the metabolic requirements of the organism, requires an increase in the consumption of proteins and, in particular BCAAs.

BCAA supplementation attenuates muscle damage, promotes faster recovery and minimizes the intensity of muscle pain (reduces DOMS – delayed onset muscle soreness) and muscle fatigue after exercise.

In supplements, the amount of leucine should be much higher than that of the other two amino acids, as it is the most important amino acid and there might be competition for absorption and metabolism (minimum ratio should be 2:1:1.

Direction: Mix 1 serving 7.5 g (1/2 scoop) in 300 ml water or any other favorite liquid and shake vigorously! Take 1-3 servings a day, before a meal or training and after training or before sleep. Letting it sit for a while ensures best dissolution!
